Toolviz accesses your camera only when you choose to scan a tool.
A captured photo is scanned using AI to identify the tool and generate details such as its name, category, common uses, and safety guidance.
Toolviz does not require sign-in and does not create a user account.
Images are transmitted to the identification service over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
You can deny or revoke camera permission at any time from your device settings. Toolviz will not function without camera access, but nothing is collected until you take a photo.
